Firefighters first. Builders second.

Wetline was founded by a Los Angeles County Fire Division Chief and is run today by a luxury home builder. Every system we install reflects both.

[ 01 ]Our story

Three decades on the fire line.

Craig Weeks spent 21 years with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, rising to Division Chief of Fire Fleet Services, where he oversaw the design and maintenance of more than 1,800 emergency vehicles and support equipment. He went on to found Specialty Fleet Consulting, advising departments nationwide on apparatus design.

He founded Wetline Wildfire Defense to bring that same engineering discipline to the home. In 2018, Big Mike, a general contractor specializing in luxury homes across Southern California, acquired the company with Craig remaining as a partner and chief technical designer.

Today Wetline is the only company in the region offering six coordinated layers of wildfire protection, documented for insurers, and backed by retired fire chiefs and Forest Service veterans.

[ 04 ]In the community

Firewise events, neighborhood walkthroughs and free education.

We regularly join Firewise community events across Los Angeles. The most common thing we learn: homeowners have insurance but don't know what it covers, or what would make their home a better risk.

$48,600 → $17,105

Wetline helped us cut our fire insurance premium by 65%. We replaced a three-policy patchwork of FAIR Plan, DIC and excess coverage costing about $48,600 with one Dover Bay policy at $17,105.
