[ 01 ]Why communities enroll
Fire crews can't be at every house.
In a wind-driven fire, engines are stretched across hundreds of homes, and embers can travel a mile or more ahead of the front. The hours before and during an evacuation are when homes are lost. The brigade puts trained crews to work on your community's homes in that window, inside the rules set by fire officials.

[ 02 ]How the brigade works
From pre-plan to all clear.
One crew, one plan per home, the same people every time.
Before the season
Pre-plan every home
A retired firefighter walks the community and maps each property: access, gate codes, water sources, systems, hazards and the flashy fuels to clear.
Before the season
Test every system
Pumps, sensors, sprinkler heads and tanks are tested and logged, with a report to each homeowner and the HOA.
Red flag warning
Stage and prepare
Crews stage near the community, top off water, arm systems, apply pre-treatment and move combustibles away from walls.
Fire nearby
Defend inside the rules
We follow evacuation orders and official direction, run systems remotely or on site where permitted, and keep homeowners updated.
After the fire
Report and reset
Each home gets a status report with photos. Systems are refilled and reset, and documentation goes to your insurer.
[ 03 ]Who it's for
Built for communities.
Retired fire chiefs, Forest Service veterans and a licensed contractor, CSLB #1029958.
HOAs and gated communities
One plan for the whole community, shared with management and security, with a status report for every home.
Estates
Large lots, long driveways and big glass: a crew that knows your property and its systems before fire season starts.
Second homes
Tahoe and Malibu homes that sit empty during fire season, watched and prepared when you can't be there.
[ 04 ]Where we serve
Communities across Los Angeles and Lake Tahoe.
[ ? ]FAQ
Fire Brigade questions.
Still deciding? Email info@wetlinedefense.com.
Does the Wetline Fire Brigade replace the fire department?
No. Public fire agencies command every wildfire. Our crews work on enrolled properties before and during fire weather, follow every evacuation order and official direction, and step back whenever incident command tells us to. Call 911 for any fire.
What does the brigade actually do on a red flag day?
Crews stage near enrolled communities, check and arm each home's systems, top off water, apply pre-treatment to vegetation and structures, move combustibles away from walls, close vents and garage doors where homeowners have given access, and report conditions back to you.
Do homes need a Wetline sprinkler system to enroll?
No. Systems make the brigade far more effective, because crews can check and run them, but homes without systems still get pre-plans, pre-treatment and red flag preparation.
How is a community plan priced?
By the number of homes, the services each home has and how many red flag days you want covered. Most communities enroll for the season with a retainer. We quote after a free walk of the community.
Can individual homeowners join?
Yes. Single estates and second homes enroll the same way, through our 24/7 monitoring plan.
Can you work with our security company or HOA management?
Yes. We share gate codes, access lists and the community pre-plan with your security team and management, so everyone knows who is on site and when.
