Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a call back, build a protection plan or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email, address or ZIP code, and the answers you enter, such as home details, insurance status and the protection layers you select.
- Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and performance. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Tools that run in your browser. The Find Savings and Get Estimate tools calculate results on your device. Nothing you enter is sent to us unless you submit a form. The live fire map's address check sends the address you type to a public geocoding service to place it on the map.
How we use it
- To contact you, schedule your free assessment and prepare your protection plan
- To send you a confirmation of your request
- To provide and improve our services and keep the site secure
- To meet legal, tax and contractor licensing obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, under agreements that limit their use of it: our customer relationship management system (Zoho CRM), our email delivery provider, and our website host (Cloudflare). With your permission, we may share your readiness report with your insurance broker or carrier. We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and warranty obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request a copy, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@wetlinedefense.com with the subject "Privacy request." We will verify your identity before responding. Nevada residents may also contact us at the same address; we do not sell covered information.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to your information to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
