Craig Weeks
Retired Division Fire Chief
Craig Weeks has over 30 years of fire service experience, 21 of which have been with the Los Angeles County Fire Department Fleet Services Division. He recently retired as the division chief of Fire Fleet Services, overseeing the design, acquisition, maintenance, and repair operation of nearly 1,800 emergency and support vehicles, boats, and ancillary equipment.
In 2014, Craig started Specialty Fleet Consulting to service fire departments. He provides fleet management consulting on the design and acquisition of fire suppression and protection vehicles and equipment.
He has published several articles and taught extensively on apparatus purchasing and specification development. Craig is an asset to Wetline’s overall attack plan for both long term and short term wildfire solutions.

BIG MIKE
OWNER, WETLINE WILDFIRE DEFENSE
Affectionately known as “Big Mike,” the founder of Wetline Wildfire Defense brings over 30 years of experience as a premier general contractor specializing in luxury home construction across Southern California. With a deep understanding of the time, financial investment, and trust involved in each project, Mike built a reputation for craftsmanship, integrity, and delivering exceptional results to a discerning clientele.
Driven by a commitment to protect his clients’ investments beyond the build, Mike began researching wildfire mitigation and home hardening strategies. This led to a collaboration with wildfire defense experts Will Spyrson and Craig Weeks. Their shared passion and complementary expertise sparked a powerful synergy, culminating in Mike’s purchase of Wetline from Craig in 2018. Craig remains a key partner and serves as the company’s chief technical designer.
Following with the addition of Patrick Reitz, the team expanded Wetline’s offerings from basic mitigation and a single layer of defense to their comprehensive 6 Layers of Defense system. By combining luxury construction expertise with advanced wildfire protection, Mike and his team ensure that every home is not only beautifully built but also structurally fortified against California’s increasing wildfire threats.
Acquiring Wetline allowed Mike to merge his decades of construction experience with cutting-edge fire defense solutions, offering clients total structure protection. His deep knowledge of homebuilding enables him to identify and reinforce structural vulnerabilities, ensuring resilience from the ground up. Today, Wetline Wildfire Defense stands at the intersection of high-end homebuilding and state-of-the-art wildfire protection, delivering peace of mind and unparalleled service across both industries.

Patrick Reitz
Fire Chief Lakeport Fire Protection District & Professional Industry Consultant
Chief Reitz is the former Fire Chief for the Idyllwild Fire Protection District, CA; the City of Sheridan, WY; and Crooked River Ranch Rural Fire Protection District, OR.
Chief Reitz has served over 33 years in Emergency Services and has experience in Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement in Ohio, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, and California. Chief Reitz is an expert in active fire prevention, with a special focus on the disbursement of flame suppression products. At Wetline Wildfire Defense, he consults on the use of our products for indoor and outdoor use, significantly improving the efficacy of our sprinkler systems; as well as hardening structures including improved ember resistance and protection.

Will Spyrison
Retired Division Chief & U.S. Forest Service “Hot Shot” Firefighter
Will Spyrison Retired Division Chief, US Forest Service, Los Angeles River Ranger District, Angeles National Forest. He began his firefighting career in 1977 with the Fulton Hotshots of the Sequoia National Forest and served with the Ojai Hotshots from 1979 to 1982 on the Los Padres National Forest. In 1995, Will was promoted to Battalion Chief and served in the position for eight years on the Ojai Ranger District, Los Padres National Forest.
Will Spyrison most recently worked as an Expert Fire Witness for a litigation case and is currently developing the InciNotes™ Incident Command System 201 documentation application for Apple™ iPad™. Will Spyrison is the Instructor for Campbell Prediction System.

JEREMY SCHOEMAKER
EXECUTIVE ADMINISTOR
Jeremy has joined Wetline Wildfire Defense as our Executive Administrator, reporting directly to Mike, the owner. With a diverse background in operations management, high-end residential construction, and maritime navigation, Jeremy brings a unique blend of precision, leadership, and logistical expertise to the team.
Before joining Wetline, Jeremy served as Lead Project Manager at MY General Construction in Los Angeles, also owned by Mike. There he oversaw luxury home builds valued up to $10 million. His role demanded meticulous attention to scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across multiple job sites, vendors, and stakeholders. Known for keeping projects running smoothly and efficiently, Jeremy managed teams of up to 20 workers, navigated complex permitting and HOA requirements, and worked closely with designers, architects, and engineers to bring high-end projects to life.
Jeremy is an experienced sailboat delivery captain, with over 30,000 nautical miles logged between Maine, Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Holding a U.S. Coast Guard OUPV license, he is no stranger to high-stakes decision-making, route planning, and ensuring safety under pressure, skills that translate directly to the fast-paced, mission-critical environment of wildfire defense.
Earlier in his career, Jeremy gained experience in digital marketing, auto sales, and equity trading, giving him a well-rounded perspective on business operations, finance, and client service. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
In his new role at Wetline, Jeremy supports daily operations, project logistics, while serving as a central point of co-ordination across all departments. His adaptability, systems thinking, and hands-on experience make him a valuable addition to our leadership team as we continue to grow and strengthen our wildfire defense capabilities.

RONALD M. BOOKER
FIRE OPERATIONS and TRAINING SPECIALIST CONSULTANT
Ronald M. Booker joins Wetline Wildfire Defense on a consulting basis, where he leads our in-house training programs and contributes his extensive knowledge to operational planning and staff development. With over 30 years of experience in wildfire suppression, aerial firefighting, fire prevention, and emergency response, Ronald brings unmatched expertise and leadership to our team.
Throughout his distinguished career, Ronald has held high-level roles with the USDA Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the Urban Association of Forestry and Fire Professionals (UAFFP), where he currently serves as Chief Training Officer. He is a qualified Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS), Division Group Supervisor, Safety Officer, and Incident Commander, with a proven ability to manage large-scale incidents and multi-agency operations.
Ronald has developed advanced fire training curricula, mentored countless firefighters, and coordinated diverse community outreach and prevention programs across California. His work has been instrumental in building fire-safe communities, especially in high-risk and underserved areas such as Venice and Watts.
Known for his tactical expertise and commitment to safety, Ronald has managed both ground and aerial firefighting operations, coordinated aviation assets, and supported complex wildland fire missions across the country. His depth of knowledge and leadership in fire operations, training, and community engagement make him an invaluable asset to Wetline Wildfire Defense and the communities we protect.
